Cycling to Panskoye Lake
Panskoye Lake, Barskoye Lake, Ekaterina's Font, Mentovskoye Lake, Blue Blood Lake, Blue Lake, Police Lake. The names of the lake are no less than the legends surrounding it. It is located approximately 15 km from Zaporozhye along the E-105 Moscow-Simferopol highway. Turn to Lake Pansky - in front of the bridge over the Konka River, near the village of Grigorovka, to the right (west), through the forest - 900 m. It is not far from the Cosmic Microdistrict of Zaporozhye - 20 kilometers one way. But everyone is tired, because the road constantly dives down, then climbs up, elevation changes 50-100meters. Driving along the highway is not very comfortable when cars are passing nearby. You have to be careful and notice the dirt branch off the asphalt road to the right. After the rain, the road was washed out so that in many places we had to walk next to the bike, well at least not far. On the way to the lake, beautiful views of the bays of the Dnieper open up.
Spring next to the lake
Water is cold :)
The maximum length of the lake is 33 m, the maximum width is 16 m. The water is clean and cool, thanks to several feeding sources. The runoff is constant in the river Konka. The water is running, which made it possible to attempt to breed trout, first to the local landowner, then to the Grigorovka fish farm. Alas, the experiment apparently failed.
The walls are lined with limestone. According to the poster placed near the Panskoye (Barskoye) Lake, the first layer of masonry is presumably from the Middle Ages. The next time the masonry was reconstructed under Count Potemkin. Then Count Kankrin (according to other sources - Sokolov) in the 19th century. And the last time in 2002, with the financial support of the local traffic police, which is difficult to explain, but funny.
The lake is equipped with steps, a parapet and an overflow pipe. Icons with faces of I.Kh. and the Mother of God, and a tablet with some pseudo-Cossack jokes.
The passage of vehicles and the making of fires on the territory of the Prystiny botanical reserve are prohibited, but these requirements seem to be rarely observed. The lake looks pretty, icons hang, there are steps to enter the water. The water is cold, but you can take a dip. There are many places where fires are made nearby.
