Day 2: Larnaca - Zygi
We woke up at 7, once again kindled a quick fire for breakfast and drove along the coast. On the way, we stopped at a Smart store and bought a large threaded gas cylinder and a burner. The store is located 5 km from Larnaca Airport if you drive along the seashore to the west. The store will be on your right.
The burner + gas bylon (which was enough for us for half the trip) cost 14.90 euros.
We drove to meet a strong wind and by the evening I was exhausted. The rest of the group members are great - they trained before the bike trip, and I, due to the workload at work and probably laziness, decided that it would do. It seemed to have gone, but the first days were uncomfortable.
We saw the sea :)
The first citrus fruits eaten in Cyprus. There were a huge number of them during the entire trip, they mainly grow in the central part of the island. It turns out that there are worms in citrus fruits, I did not know. Someone from the group even accidentally ate a worm and said that they were delicious)
We spent the night at an abandoned house, which served as a shelter from the wind in the town of Zygi.
There is a small sailboat marina in this town, where I asked about the price of parking. I was told that for an 8 meter boat it would cost 300 euros per month. Expensive )
There is a problem with the gasoline burner that I took from Ukraine: it goes out. My run, badly checked before departure. She never had any problems, but apparently it was just the case when the problems started :)
During the day we covered about 40 km.
