Day 5: Kusadasi - Dilek - Akkoy
Waking up in the morning, we saw that we had spent the night in the middle of some local cycling party. There were a lot of tents around, a lot of bikes. Many bikes lay unfastened to anything - yes, this is not our country. There was a kitchen at the cycling party, however, as I later realized, it was not worth the money paid: breakfast was meager, it would be better if we cooked our own food. At breakfast, we met a married couple who were traveling in a rented car in Turkey. We talked - it turned out they were from Russia. Renting a car and refueling it in Turkey is not a pleasurefrom cheap. Around noon we went to Dilek.
Bicycle festival advertisement. Some kind of local significance, 50-70 people arrived.
Morning :) Parking is free, and breakfast is paid, 10 lire. There is a suspicion that without breakfast it is impossible.
Unfamiliar bike brands
I'm sticking up again, and nearby climbs into the cat, hoping to profit from something
We took a picture of a piece of the map at the entrance to the national reserve
Approximately here turn off the paved road onto the trail through the pass. There, the place is marked with an arch and posters with pictures of the park's animals.
It's very beautiful there. Being in Turkey and not going to this place is simply impossible.
There are many similar sources along the way, every 2-3 kilometers. It is enough to fill one eggplant with water, this will last until the next source. There is water only on one side of the pass.
Pass. It is not recommended to spend the night in the park, because. There are plenty of wild animals here. And there are not enough flat places to pitch a tent. If you still decide to spend the night, but do not camp near the water, unless of course you are a fan of listening all night how different animals go to the watering place :)
Salt marshes are visible behind the pass
Strange rock formations
Cautiously going down
I made my way, sealed and lost two of the three bortirovochki. Damn, I had them from my first bike, made of stainless steel. Sadness-sorrow...
We're going down. The descent is not easier than the ascent - you can only go in some places, and then the led on the stones goes skidding, it’s hard not to fall
Salt marshes are ahead - there we will spend the night
Approximate overnight location. The overnight stay turned out to be not very calm - wild boars and hyenas trampled around the tent. However, fatigue took its toll and I fell asleep. We drove 35 km, gained altitude - 1000 m.
